Sandi
I miss your daily program on WYLL. You did a great job, digging up the stuff on
Chicago area politics. I'm sure you made more than a few people uncomfortable
when their names and activies where aired on your show. HA-HA
I like your style.
My best wishes to you and your family, from our Lord Jesus.

Excellent piece Sandy. I agree that there is more to this than meets the eye. I'm curious just how Gloria Allred got involved to begin with??? In Bialek's own testimony, I'm curious why she didn't tell Mr Cain right from the initial contact, just what she was seeking. It sounded seductive to me as well. Regardless, the media will see to it that Herman Cain is destroyed. Just where is Jackson and Sharpton on all of this?

Sandy,
I saw in one of Tuesday's articles on the internet that Bialek has a 2nd interview @ WIND AM radio - Chicago!!!!! I hope WIND is "smart enough" not to get "mixed up in that. However, the new talk show host at 5 PM is Steve Cochran who will be interviewing Bialek & I think he said the attorney Allred.--!! He said he knows Bialek & believes her. (I cannot get adjusted to his show.) So, maybe the station is leaning Republican vs. Conservative in its organizaitonn

Sandy,

Let's face it. This is what the Far Left does best: smear. You were the one who reported that as soon as Sarah Palin was nominated that Barack Obama sent 30-40 attorneys marching into Alaska to dig for as much dirt as they can find on her. All this tells me that the one most feared by Obama is Cain. Can't you imagine Obama v. Cain in a debate!!!! Then, the African-Americans in his "back pocket" suddenly would have a real choice.

First off, I was suspicious about the mysterious "3" -- I read on a blog somewhere that Emanuel had his fingerprints on that. When I saw Bialek used to live in Axelrod's building, that solidified my theory. Of course, Emanuel and Axelrod will not make direct contact. This is Chicago -- machine politics, back room deals, connections & "shake downs." But, it is also 21st century more sophisticated politics. I would not be surprised if a contact person did not hand her an envelope w/some cash to fly to NY. Yes, why does she need to fly to NYC for a press conference? She could have one on her front lawn in Libertyville. But, in NYC she has access to more press & publishers there that would be relentlessly seeking her out once that news broke.

"Innocent 'til proven guilty" is long gone on this issue. Who/why do folks automatically assume she is credible? What proof do they have of her integrity?
How do we know she was not the aggressor and rebuffed by him? And, maybe "hell hath no fury but that of a woman's scorn." Maybe this is "payback"--revenge pent up for 14 years. Do we know if she is a marijuana user? Many are today. She has been bankrupt 2 times for some reason--the first filing apparently did not solve the problem. And, we don't know if the 2nd one is solving the problem. If she has ever used even recreationally, her brain cells are vulnerable to being altered. We do not know about him on that nor do we know about how both tolerate alcohol.

Yes, to "run after" Cain at Tea Con and then to have the audacity to say that she did not even know he would be there!!!!! I would have loved to attend, but w/my fixed SS income it was not prudent that I do. Even I knew Cain was going to be there.
A caller in to one of the WIND talk shows said she attended Tea Con & that it was "all over" that Cain would be there. I don't think Bialek bargained that anyone like Amy would report what she saw. After an alleged "assault", for Bialek to go up, whisper in his ear & hug him also tells me she is capable of some form of aggression toward a male even without a relationship. And, for Bialek to tell no one even her fiance with whom she lives in Libertyville tells me that she is capable of disconnect.

For me, I would not even agree to a dinner with a married man, drinks & ask for a job.
Years ago a mob fellow was visiting his cousin where I worked as Secretary/Bookkeeper. I occupied the frong desk next to which was a chair where the mobster sat down. He asked me, "What kind of gifts do you like?" I said, "I don't like any gifts." That ended it; that was my intent. I don't think Sharon Bialek would do the same.

The other thing re: those 2 bankruptcies -- why is she bankrupt? Maybe a long-shot--but, could it be for drinking? drugs? gambling? I don't believe she has been married. She has at least 1 child. I thought it was 2. I say all that to say that there could be motivation to receive nice cash envelopes in her mail box. Who would ever know?

Today women are not like they were years ago. At least that is what I hear from fellows. Even some women tell me. Women have been "liberated" and are more aggressive sexually. We also do not know if this woman tells facts objectively or if she is one who embellishes facts or even lies. I have seen folks like right through their teeth and look you square in the eye.

Our freedoms and liberties are at stake in this election at many levels like they have never been before. Satan and the Far Left have a vested interest to deliver a "knock out" blow to Obama's biggest threat. It will get uglier, more wicked & violent. I believe that even many will try to block voters from voting.

Bless you. Miss you.

Having just finished reading your article "Mormonism and the presidency" I would like to make a few comments.
Yes, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and yes, I do believe in all of the things which you informed the public of in your opening paragraph. Your opening paragraph is where I take exception to the article. Had you left out the first paragraph I would have agreed whole heartedly with the rest of the article. But, when you begin by asking if the electorate should know certain things about a candidate's beliefs and then immediately cite those beliefs, it tells me that you have an agenda, a purpose for writing the article, beyond just posing the question "do American voters have the right to know...?".
I am a Nuclear Imaging Technologist, but before becoming such, I was a general building contractor. If you were to ask me how to build a house I would not start by telling you about the roof trusses as it would make little sense without first telling you about the foundation which supports the walls which in turn support the trusses. You and many "evangelicals" are quick to try and balk at Mormonism by talking only about the roof, which in and of itself, i.e., taken out of context, makes little sense to people not of our faith and in many cases, if not most, leaves them thinking we are just plain nuts. Which is, I believe, the whole agenda behind you article to begin with. To attempt to prop up Governor Perry's falling poll numbers by attacking Governor Romney's belief system, I would have hoped was beneath you. But, politics does have a way of getting people to do and say things that they would not normally do or say.
One last thing, no, I will not be voting for Romney simply because he is Mormon. Personally, I like Cain but I don't think he is electable at this point in time.

10/14/11

Dear Ms. Rios:

A cult of intolerance was unveiled Oct. 7 at the Values Voter Summit attended by social conservatives in Washington DC. Some there, who misunderstand the Constitutional right of religious freedom, labeled the religion of a Mormon presidential candidate a non-Christian cult.

Several observations help disprove this label.

Jesus Christ is referred to repeatedly in 400 page hymn books placed in pews at chapels of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (nicknamed Mormon).

The LDS Church (through BYUTV) has produced and will air on Oct. 16 the first U.S. Documentary mini-series on the making of the King James Bible to celebrate its 400-year anniversary. Called "Fires of Faith" it uses re-enactments to capture the religious persecution suffered by those who sought to translate the Bible into English. This event made the Bible available to the religious refugees and founding fathers who brought forth an America with religious freedom.

The just released DVD “17 Miracles” is about Mormon pioneers who fled America because of religious bigotry in the 1850’s - they settled the desolate wilderness that became Utah. Perhaps after viewing it social conservatives will ask themselves if their religious convictions would give them the courage to accomplish what the Mormon pioneers did in the face of religious persecution. Some on those treks died for their fellow Mormon friends which according to Jesus Christ qualifies them to join ranks with all the other great Christians. Are we “just as ready to die in defending the rights of a Presbyterian, a Baptist, or a good man [or woman] of any other denomination…? [because] the same principle which would trample upon the rights of the Latter-day Saints would trample upon the rights of the Roman Catholics, or of any other denomination who may be unpopular and too weak to defend themselves.” (Joseph Smith, 1843.) Before it grows too late social conservatives had better grasp the importance of walking “…together for a ways on the same path in order to secure our freedom to pursue our separate ways when that is necessary according to our own beliefs." (Dallin Oaks, 2011.)

Social conservatives and religious leaders should insist that every presidential candidate preserve, protect and defend the U.S. Constitution. Starting now, all candidates should allow only religious freedom questions or “plead” Article VI – "No religious test shall ever be required as qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."

Sincerely,

Phil Taylor
Vista, CA

P.S.
Perhaps your pastor friend can avoid this:

By using this:

Needless to say I have no interest in hearing from any church leader who uses the supreme liberal Obama supporter Chris Matthews to try to prove he's Christian and then broadcasts it on his "conservative" church web-site.

Social conservatives and religious leaders should insist that every presidential candidate preserve, protect and defend the U.S. Constitution. Starting now, all candidates should allow only religious freedom questions or “plead” Article VI – “No religious test shall ever be required as qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”

Sincerely,

Perhaps your pastor friend can avoid this:

Needless to say I have no interest in hearing from any church leader who uses the supreme liberal Obama supporter Chris Matthews to try to prove he’s Christian and then broadcasts it on his “conservative” church web-site.

Larry Reams said it correctly...check earlier blog. The Tea Party wants the Constitution to be adhered to, no question.
Why is the press not doing any reporting on the Natural Born citizen issue?
There are so many issue in this one article, I don't know where to begin.
